Structure
Wednesday - Proposal in place by Drew Buddie - confirmation of arrangements pending
Thursday - Proposal in place by Drew Buddie - confirmation of arrangements pending
Friday - Standard TeachMeet - Tom Barrett/Stuart Ridout organising
BrainPOP UK is considering a series of ideas to support both Teachmeet and CPD more broadly during these 3 events/sessions. We want to do something that is fun but also good for CPD and developing PLNs. All we are waiting on is some more clarity from the practitioners about what to do with the Wed and Thurs.
What to do next
Primary thing is to get sponsors and decide on structure and organising teams
Organising teams
If you are interested in signing up to be part of the organising team please put your name and details below along with preferences of days, skills, access etc.
Sponsors
We are looking for lots of sponsors to help us put this ambitious three day event on, especially with providing WiFi to presenters and attendees. If you have a sponsor or can help please put details below.
- Richard Taylor (ex Tutpup etc) - I have a client who is a potential sponsor but need to look at what they can do and how much it will cost. Contact me at richard@mediataylor.com
- kevin@fluffyclouds.co.uk - we have several potential sponsors via fluffy clouds. In conversation with Tom Barrett about it...
- You KNOW that BrainPOP UK is ready to help and definately to sponsor where needed. Eylan Ezekiel www.brainpop.co.uk email: eylane@brainpop.co.uk
- We are interested in learning more about sponsorship. Peter Schneider http://www.nettrekker.com/uk/ pschneider@nettrekker.com @peteschneider
- happy to sponsor joe.wilson@sqa.org.uk - usually offer donation towards accommodation or nibbles
Completed tasks
- Flashmeetings booked for all 3 nights - URLs will be posted once wiki for each night created. Sinclair MacKenzie

Should we create separate pages for each night once we have decided what the focus should be?

I think that would be best. That way we can keep this page to hang all three nights together.

Ah, so I left my comment in the wrong place! I have left a comment on the front page offering space on the Scholastic stand during the show opening hours. If you want to have a presence at the show, to see what can happen with passing teacher traffic, let me know. If there is anything that I can help with for the above arrangements, ditto. I can be contacted at cratcliffe@scholastic.co.uk; twitter/chrisrat; twitter/classpet. Cheers.
