It is still early days yet it seems that TeachMeet Sydney09 Edition 1 will take place in Sydney later this year. A small group is planning things at this stage and more news will be posted on this page.

 

What TeachMeet?

 

TeachMeet is an opportunity to meet those teachers and educators with whom you have shared evening Twitter conversations. It will be a chance to shake hands with that wonderful person who always finds the time to comment on your blog. You can come along and learn something new, pick up some tips, be genuinely amazed and heartily amused. It is a chance to share your experiences in a friendly and collegial space. This is an informal gathering of those curious about technologies. Anyone can share cool ideas they have or great ideas they've trialled in their classrooms.

 

What can you do at TeachMeet?

 

You can come along to linger, loiter, contribute, chat, meet new people, or 'give a seven minute talk' or a 'two minute nano presentation'.

 

Seven minute micropresentations or roundtables

 

 

Rules for the talk:

 

• It's only seven minutes long
• Your setup is part of the seven minutes
