What is TeachMeet?

Learn something new, be amazed, amused and enthused. This is an informal gathering of those curious about teaching and technology. Anyone can share great ideas they've trialled in their classrooms, ask important questions or simply sign up to take part in Boxing Glove. Would be good to see and hear from teachers of all ages. Review of Mosquito Magnet

Why is it called 'Game on edition?'

The Game Based Learning Conference Good stocks to invest in for is being held at the Brewery, London on 29th to 30th March.  The organisers of the conference, Learning without Frontiers have generously offered the use of the venue and facilities. You dont have to attend the conference to attend the teachmeet and its free  but will have to register to get into teachment register http://teachmeetgameon.eventbrite.com/  The gathering of many practitioners involved and interested in games in learning, prompted the thought to invite even more people, keen to learn and share about their experiences.  If you want to talk about  using games in learning will be of interest, playing online games, commercial off the shelf games, video console games, game making, using games as a theme for a topic - anything! But in the spirit of Teachmeet it doesnt have to be about games if you want to share your practice success or even failure go on do it.

What can you do?

You can come along to chat, meet new people, or give a seven minute talk, a four minute nano presentation or lead a conversation.

Presentation Rules

What are the rules for this Teachmeet ?

You can use whatever presentation format you want including  prezi, slide rocket, 280 slides, you could just talk, show something from the web, hold up a poster or you could sing a song or do something different ? If its a sale pitch you will get cut short by the audience "The camel will get you !!"

The important thing is that you get your message across and you will only get one minute set up time.

Seven Minute Micro Presentations

Add your name and what you may talk about below.  Classroom practice, cpd, course planning... pretty much anything you think can help others implement it! Just don't bother signing up if you are only showcasing a product!
