TeachMeet Tablet v6.0

Interested in how tablets can change the teaching and learning experience for pupils and teachers?

Thinking about starting out with using tablets in the classroom, or have you got experience of doing so?

What might that look like? What advice would you need? What advice could you give?

TeachMeet Tablet is intended for:

  • people already using tablet devices in education who want to share what they are doing, and learn how to use them more effectively;
  • people who would like to use tablet devices in education but are not sure where to start;
  • people who are interested in learning and teaching!

When and where?

Tuesday 24th November 2015 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm

Venue is the library in The High School of Glasgow, 637 Crow Road, Glasgow, G13 1PL.

Note: The school has plenty of car parking, and if you are driving, the vehicle entrance to the High School is on Anniesland Road. As well as this gate, there is also pedestrian access from Crow Road if you are arriving on foot. Nearby train stations are at either Anniesland (closest) or Jordanhill, whilst Glasgow First Buses M11, 4A, 6, 6A, 15, 16, and 94 all serve the Anniesland Cross area.

TeachEat

As Esquire House no longer accept bookings, we shall not be organising a table in advance, but anyone who wants to head over to The Esquire House (Wetherspoons) for something to eat or a drink/coffee after TMTablet is more than welcome (that's where I'll be having my dinner, that's for sure - Tuesday is Steak Night)

It is expected that each person will pay for their own meal and drinks as it is unlikely that sponsorship will cover this cost.

The venue is Esquire House, 1487 Great Western Road, Glasgow, G12 0AU.
