Wirral ASE Primary Science Teachmeet

For anyone involved or interested in primary science teaching in Wirral, West Cheshire, Liverpool, Flintshire and beyond!

Wednesday 23rd March 2016

Refreshments: 3.45-4.15 pm

Presentations: 4.15-5.45 pm

Woodslee Primary School, Croft Avenue, Bromborough, Wirral, CH62 2BP

This is an informal gathering of those curious about primary science teaching. Everyone is welcome - primary teachers from all types of schools, teaching assistants, students and other people working in primary science.

Anyone can share great ideas they've trialed in their classrooms, a teaching resource they love, a great website, a classroom activity - whatever you like! You can ask questions or simply turn up to soak up all the great ideas and enthusiasm.

Come and be inspired by hearing teachers sharing their good practice for teaching and learning in primary science. Join in the discussion, get exciting new ideas for your lessons and maybe contribute yourself.  Feel free to bring NQTs who just want to gather some ideas as well.

What can you do? You can just come along and be a member of the audience if you like, you can give a two minute nano-presentation on one of your favourite science teaching ideas, or you can give a six minute micro-presentation on an aspect of classroom science teaching. You don't have to be an ASE member, but if you're not, we might try to persuade you to join!

Telling Others-  Please tell other teachers about the event. If you've been to a TeachMeet before, aim to bring along someone who hasn't.

Twitter- help publicise this free CPD event through social media. Use hashtag #tmase - include that whenever your write or post anything about any ASE Science TeachMeets.
