Effective practice in music education for SEND: what really works and why?

Teachers and educators from the North East are invited to join us for an inspring evening of sharing and discussing the delivery of music in schools for children with special educational needs and disabilities. What's really working in your setting?

The evening will include refreshments and plenty of time for networking, sharing and talking, a keynote presentation, plus short introductions from Culture Bridge North East and Inspire Music. Then the fun begins: you are invited to make the event your own by offering a quick presentation about your approach to SEND music in your setting. Share something you've discovered, and idea you've tested, a problem you've overcome or a favourite resource.

Tickets are available below if you want to offer a mini-presentation (5 minutes!) or if you just want to come along to get some new ideas and see what's happening around the region.

This event is run in partnership between Gateshead and South Tyneside Music Education HubCulture Bridge North East and Inspire Music
