ASE Rushden Academy Science TeachMeet

ASE Science TeachMeet _ NOW POSTPONED TILE NEXT TERM

4.00pm - 6.00pm Wednesday 13th July (refreshments from 15.30)

VOC Building, Rushden Academy, Hayway, Rushden, Northamptonshire, NN10 6AG

Please sign in at school reception and get a visitor's badge

It is an informal and enjoyable gathering of those curious about teaching and learning. Anyone can share great ideas they've trialled in their classrooms, a teaching resource they love, a great website, a classroom activity - whatever you like! You can ask questions or simply turn up to soak up all the great ideas and enthusiasm.  It is about being engaged and inspired by our immediate colleagues and gaining a lot of of networking to boot! Secondary and primary teachers of science are welcome, either as speakers or just mince-pie eaters!

What can you do?

You can just come along and be a member of the audience if you like, you can give a two minute nano-presentation on one of your favourite science teaching ideas, or you can give a seven minute micro-presentation on an aspect of classroom science teaching. You don't have to be an ASE member, but if you're not, we might try to persuade you to join!

Telling Others

Please tell other science teachers about the event. If you've been to a TeachMeet before, aim to bring along someone who hasn't.
