What is it?

A TeachMeet is an informal gathering of educators who are taking their CPD into their own hands and want to listen to inspiring teachers who do amazing things in their classrooms every day. Learn something new, be amazed and amused. Anyone can share interesting, useful or innovative ideas in a 2 minute or 7 minute presentation. Presentations can be on any educational topic and about subjects across the curriculum. It really is the best CPD there is!

Food and drink will be available.

Doors open at 16.30, for a 17:00 start and the event finishes at approx. 19:00.

You can stay and simply watch the presentations, get involved with the online discussion on Twitter using the #TMkentmedway hashtag or present and share in a 2 minute or 7 minute presentation.

Plans are hotting up for Technopop London - a free, eight-week pop-up festival of science, technology, design and innovation in spring 2014. We are delighted that The Crystal by Siemens has come on board to share their exciting expertise in building the cities of the future.

To celebrate their involvement with Technopop, The Crystal is hosting a TeachMeet London on 28 November 2013. Come along to their innovative Docklands venue to share inspiring ideas with other teachers. This TeachMeet London is open to all topics and teachers but will have a particular focus on bringing innovation and technology into all curriculum areas.

Running from 1 March to 21 April 2014 in The International Quarter (TIQ) at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, Technopop aims to educate, amaze and inform young people about the ideas and innovations that will shape their future work and play.
