Important Update
Unfortunately we have had to cancel this event due to the limited number of speakers. Our apologies and we will try to organise another event with more notice or a wider remit to make it worth while attending.

Details of this event
A chance for Primary teachers in Birmingham and the West Midlands to get together and share practice and ideas. This event will be focused on Primary education, but colleagues from other sectors are welcome to attend if they have an interest in this area. We are keen for people to attend who may not have been to a TeachMeet before, and we welcome presentations about any forward thinking or interesting educational ideas- not just those related to New Technologies (although such talks are very welcome too!).
What is TeachMeet?
Learn something new, be amazed, amused and enthused. This is an informal gathering of those curious about teaching and learning. Anyone can share great ideas they've trialled in their classrooms, ask important questions or simply sign up to take part in learning conversations. Education professionals from all sectors are welcome to take part.

What can you do?
You can come along to chat, meet new people, or give a seven minute talk, a two minute nano presentation or lead a conversation.
As with all Teachmeets, we are dependant on our sponsors for a venue, refreshments, wifi, equipment and other costs.
Presentation Rules
You can use whatever presentation format you want including PowerPoint, keynote, prezi, slide rocket, 280 slides, you could just talk, show something from the web, hold up a poster or you could sing a song or do something different ? This is about showcasing learning, not showcasing products: use your 2 minutes or 7 minutes to show us the difference your project has made to education.
The important thing is that you get your message across and you will only get one minute set up time.
Be prepared for technical difficulties and be ready to wing it on the night! That’s what makes Teachmeet exciting!
If your examples are online please add links to your presentation or work to the title (this will speed things up on the night)
