What is MathsMeet?

Learn something new, be amazed, amused and enthused!

MathsMeet is based on the TeachMeet model and is an informal  and enjoyable gathering of those curious about teaching and learning. Anyone can share great ideas they've trialled in their classrooms, ask important questions or simply sign up to take part in learning conversations. Education professionals from all sectors are welcome to take part and it'd be great to see both Primary and Secondary!

Tim and Moby from BrainPopUK are great at explaining things- so here is their introduction to MathsMeet which hopefully sums up all the above (and more!)  Why not show this video in a department meeting at your school to quickly introduce everyone to MathsMeet?

What can you do?

You can come along to chat, meet new people, or give a five minute presentation or just simply to come and be there and soak up all the inspirational ideas.

Presenting at MathsMeet is not scary, and anybody can present- you don't need to be an expert!  People who present often say what a great  and fun experience it was!

If you are just selling something, you will be asked to stop - so please don't just turn up and try and sell!
