What is TeachMeet? This great post from @don_iain might help

TeachMeet – the story so far

Have you ever heard of TeachMeet? Realistically speaking, unless you are a bit of a technophile or have attended either the Scottish Learning Festival or the BETT conferences and kept your ear to the ground then the answer is probably “No.”

But the signs are clear – that’s all likely to change, and probably very soon. There’s a revolution coming, and its name is TeachMeet.

But what exactly is TeachMeet?

What can you do?

You can come along to chat, meet new people, or give a seven minute talk, a two minute nano presentation or lead a conversation.

Presentation Rules

You can use whatever presentation format you want including PowerPoint, keynote, prezi, slide rocket, 280 slides, you could just talk, show something from the web, hold up a poster or you could sing a song or do something different ?

The important thing is that you get your message across

Learning conversations

At recent TeachMeets, not everybody who wished to present has been able to present. Similary, not everybody wishes to perform. So... instead of doing a presentation, would you like to lead a conversation on a topic that's currently close to your heart? Perhaps it's an area where you have more questions than answers?

Sign up below if you'd like to lead a conversation and tell us what it will be about.
