This Teachmeet is open to everyone

Teachmeet Learning Without Frontiers will take place after the first day of the Learning Without Frontiers Conference on Sunday 9th January 2011 Evening 5:30-7:30pm in the Lower Sugar room. It is facilitated by #bMobLe.

Please note: This is a FANCY DRESS event!

Although there is no obligation to attend the event in fancy dress, it would be great to have the world's first fancy dress teachmeet. So do please try - even if it is only to wear a hat!

Agenda

5:30pm a complimentary drink and a snack is being provided by our kind sponsors near The Lower Sugar Room.

6:00pm Teachmeet LWF - if you would like the chance to present please add your name in the presentation section.

7:20pm Prize draw - some great little prizes have been provided by the Bradford Learning Network and Challenge CLC.

7:30pm For those people that would like to continue the networking and fun, the bMobLe team and anyone who cares to join us will then be heading towards another LWF event - The Sunday Social, venue - The Elbow Room (97-113 Curtain Road, Shoreditch, EC2A 3BS). Learning Without Frontiers are providing a complementary drink and some snacks. Graham informs us that it is a good place for very reasonably priced food. See the menu below:-

What is TeachMeet?

Learn something new, be amazed, amused and enthused. This is an informal gathering of those curious about teaching and learning. Anyone can share great ideas they've trialled in their classrooms, ask important questions or simply sign up to take part in learning conversations. Education professionals from all sectors are welcome to take part.

The main part of TeachMeet is hearing stories about learning, from teachers. This is not an event to present about a product or theory - this is a chance for teachers from all types of establishments to hear ideas from each other. Real narratives of practice that make a difference. It is about being engaged and inspired by our immediate colleagues and a whole bucket load of networking to boot!
