Page history last edited by Roger Billing 12 years, 10 months ago

Today is the day!  Cake has been bought, we have broken the 20 person barrier and the sun is shining!

In partnership with Whole Education and The Cambridge Primary Review.

Visit The Wroxham Primary School, Hertfordshire EN6 3DJ

Tuesday 7th June

Running order - thanks to Mark Allen

Running order - confirmed (for now)

Teachmeet CRP and Whole Education

7th June 2011

4:30 – Welcome to Wroxham – Grab a cup of tea and a bit of cake.

4:40 – First presentation – Martyn Vandewalle talking about Forest School.

4:47 – Second Presentation – Luke Owers talking about resources and warm ups for PE sessions.

4:54 – Third Presentation – Mark Allen talking about putting the learning back into your VLE.

5:01 - Fourth Presentation – Leon Cych talking about using Voki for writing.

5:08 – Final presentation – Steve Davy talking about experiential learning in History, on a local and global scale.

5:15 – Introduction to the table topics

Table 1 – Twitter and school trips/informing parents – positives and negatives.

Table 2 – Using free web apps to build a coherent ICT strategy for your school.

Table 3 – Web links with other schools – how to do it and where it can take you.

These tables will run three times so that we can go to each table.  They are really there to have a discussion, to talk about the good and bad bits and how people have implemented them in schools.  It is not the end of the world if they go off topic, unless it changes to talking about soaps or something rubbish like that!

5:45 – End of table session – summary and where will we go next?

This is just an idea, the final format will be decided on Monday - but be safe in the knowledge that there will be the chance to talk about learning and how we can make it even better for our schools and children - whilst also drinking tea/coffee and having a bit of cake.
