Organisers

This event is being organised by Prav Bassi, Julia Kossowska (@juliabhamict), Steve Philp , (@frogphilp), Oliver Quinlan (@oliverquinlan) and Lisa Stevens (@lisibo)

Please feel free to contact us if you have any queries.

How does a teachmeet work?

Teachers meet and talk about what they do in the classroom. People, sit and chat. They take notes or photos, make videos, tweet or just listen. Some people use technology to present. Powerpoint, Prezi, Keynote, Slide rocket, 280 slides and video are amongst the options. As is holding up a poster. Or singing a song.

If you want some further ideas, here's Oliver's blog about what happened at the last Teachmeet Brum Social Media Agency Manchester

Note that this teachmeet is a Science and ICT edition. We're especially looking for classroom activities that work in Science and ICT.

What can you do?

You could do one of these things:

seven minute talk  two minute nano presentation  listen (and be inspired)
(image of Jan Webb at #tmBrum, March 2011)  (image of Steve Philp at #tmBrum, March 2011)  (image from the back of #tmwml, April 2011)

Please sign up below.

Telling Others

You could also tell other people about the event. If you've been to a teachmeet before, aim to bring along someone who hasn't.
