TeachMeet Wales

Page history last edited by Kevin Mc Laughlin 9 years ago

All those involved in education in Wales will have heard of the Skills Framework and Schools Effectiveness Framework documents, but how often have you had the chance to share real ideas that put these documents into practice in the classroom? If you have some examples of how you have made these key publications in Wales work in your school, then why don’t you come and share your ideas with teachers from across Wales?

This is an informal gathering of those curious about learning and teaching in Wales. Anyone can share great ideas they've trialled in their classrooms, ask important questions or simply sign up to take part in learning conversations. It would be good to see, and hear from Primary, Secondary and Special School Teachers.

This TeachMeet will be unique because it will run at two venues simultaneously, one in North Wales and the other in South Wales. One venue will be in Wrexham (Erlas Centre) and the other will be in Cardiff (WJEC). The whole TeachMeet will be broadcast live on the NGfL Cymru Live channel and presentations will alternate from north to south and bring together educators who are miles away geographically, but very close in their thinking and practice.

Come along to inspire and be inspired.

Where and when is it? 4th July Monday 5:30pm - 8:30pm

O Bolisi i Arfer

Bydd pawb sydd yn ymwneud ag addysg yng Nghymru wedi clywed am ddogfennau’r Fframwaith Sgiliau a Fframwaith Effeithiolrwydd Ysgolion, ond pa mor aml rydych chi wedi cael y cyfle i rannu syniadau go iawn a rhoi’r dogfennau hyn ar waith yn y dosbarth? Os oes gennych enghreifftiau o’r modd rydych wedi rhoi’r cyhoeddiadau allweddol hyn yng Nghymru ar waith yn eich ysgol, yna pam na wnewch chi rannu eich syniadau gydag athrawon eraill o bob cwr o Gymru?

Cyfarfod anffurfiol o’r rhai hynny sy’n chwilfrydig ynghylch dysgu ac addysgu yng Nghymru yw hwn. Gall unrhyw un rannu syniadau gwych maent wedi’u treialu yn eu hystafelloedd dosbarth, gofyn cwestiynau pwysig neu gofrestru’n unig i gymryd rhan mewn sgyrsiau dysgu. Byddai’n dda gweld a chlywed oddi wrth athrawon yn y sector Cynradd, y sector Uwchradd ac athrawon Ysgolion Arbennig.

Bydd y TeachMeet yma’n unigryw oherwydd bydd yn cael ei gynnal mewn dau leoliad ar yr un pryd, un yng Ngogledd Cymru a’r llall yn y De. Bydd un lleoliad yn Wrecsam (Canolfan Erlas) a bydd y llall yng Nghaerdydd (CBAC). Bydd y cyfan yn cael ei ddarlledu’n fyw ar Sianel Fyw GCaD Cymru a cheir cyflwyniadau bob yn ail o’r gogledd a’r de gan ddwyn ynghyd addysgwyr a fydd filltiroedd ar wahân yn ddaearyddol, ond yn agos iawn o ran eu meddylfryd a’u harferion.

Dewch i ysbrydoli ac i gael eich ysbrydoli.
