What is are TeachMeets?
They are teacher-led events, where teachers share ideas and what works in practice. They are part of a grass-roots movement of ‘un-conferences’ and are a fun and informal way to share great teaching ideas, often about using ICT to teach.
Check out this blog to discover TeachMeet’s humble beginnings and somewhat anarchic ethos: “TeachMeet the story so far”
or watch the following video from one of our sponsors BrainBopUK:
Get involved!
Give a five minute micro-presentation to share how you’re using ICT to engage students and support learning.
Give a two minute nano-presentation to highlight one activity or product that enhances teaching practice.
Be an audience participant: ask questions or just be inspired by other educational professionals!
