About TeachMeet Essex
Following on from the successful first Teachmeet Essex in 2010, we're putting on another event to showcase the excellent teaching and learning that is taking place the schools in Essex as well as the breakaway people's republics of Southend and Thurrock. Teachers and friends from other areas are obviously more than welcome too!
While we welcome guest from the various local authorities, this is an independently-run event outside any local authority banners.

We're working hard with the sponsors to collect together some great freebies into goody bags for each attendee. It's even more important that you sign up to attend so that we know how many bags we need to have.
Tags and Twitter
To keep it all together and to make it easier to follow things use the following tag for all posts, images, tweets and presentations to do with TeachMeet Essex : #TMEssex
You are more than welcome to come along and just watch. There is no pressure to give a talk. If you want to attend, but don't feel up to giving a talk then please put your name below, so we have an idea of numbers attending.
When you are mentioning TeachMeet Essex whilst using Twitter please just add #TMEssex somwhere in the tweet - that way it will be picked up by a Twitter search. On the night of the TeachMeet we will hopefully have a projected live feed of the Twitter backchannel.
What do we need to make the event happen?
Spread the word - Please let others in your school know about the event. If you've been to a TeachMeet before, please try and bring someone along who has never been
