What is a TeachMeet?

It is an informal and enjoyable gathering of those curious about teaching and learning. Anyone can share great ideas they've trialled in their classrooms, ask questions or simply turn up to soak up all the great ideas and enthusiasm.

The main part of TeachMeet is hearing stories about learning, from teachers and other education professionals. This is a chance for education professionals to hear ideas from each other, a chance to hear real narratives of practice that makes a difference. It is about being engaged and inspired by our immediate colleagues and gaining a whole bucket load of networking to boot!

This sounds interesting. Looking for speaking and workshop opportunities in Yorkshire schools to help young people be more creative and successful in education, work and life. Can I help you? Any place to meet forward thinking and enterprise type teachers is a great place to be. Lot's on offer, from Superheroes to presentation skills, 25 years in the design/branding industry, a local Dewsbury lad too (Batley Art College), just not BIG (yet) on science though looking for opportunities for adapting The 7 Keys to Success schools programme to a STEM based version as well as 7 Keys to Good Health. Sounds like you would enjoy it. Would you like to present? The theme of the talks is quite broad. Anything that will interest science teachers is a yes.
Just let me know
