It's an informal and enjoyable gathering of those curious about teaching and learning. Anyone can share great ideas they've trialled in their classrooms, ask questions or simply turn up to soak up all the great ideas and enthusiasm.
The main part of TeachMeet is hearing stories about learning, from teachers and other education professionals. This is a chance for education professionals to hear ideas from each other, a chance to hear real narratives of practice that makes a difference. It is about being engaged and inspired by our immediate colleagues and gaining a whole bucket load of networking to boot!
Check out this blog to discover TeachMeet’s humble beginnings and somewhat anarchic ethos: “TeachMeet: the story so far”http://h-blog.me.uk/?p=161
As with all of the Clevedon TeachMeet events, there will be catering so you won't go hungry. We recognise that you are giving up your time to attend and invest in your own CPD. If you've attended before, please BRING A FRIEND and help spread the word.
Keynote:
We are delighted to announce that the brilliant Jim Roberson - top educational motivational speaker will be joining us for #tmclevedon bringing his inimitable wit and pzazz and learning ideas from stateside to inspire and motivate young people in your classroom.
We are having TEXMEX supplied to us by Clevedon School's students studying BTEC Hospitality.
There will be wifi available on the night so you will be able to Tweet and blog too.
Tech support will be provided on the night by Clevedon School's IT support from Three Cherries.
