What is a TeachMeet?

TeachMeets are currently big news.

TeachMeets are, as the name suggests, meetings of teachers.

But they are meetings with a difference.

They are meetings where no-one speaks for more than five minutes; Sign up for a nano presentation (1-2 mins) or a micro presentation (5 mins), but no more.

And they are meetings where some people do not speak at all; whilst we encourage presentations, enthusiastic audience members are also very welcome.

Finally, and most importantly, TeachMeets are meetings about learning.

This fun video explains it all.

If you would like to participate... Please fill in your name on this page.  You can edit this page to add your details (details of how to do this below) or email kimberley.anthony@newport.gov.uk  with information that needs uploading.

When and where?
