"A TeachMeet for Cambridgeshire to be held in St. Neots on Monday 15th October 2012".

"In my classroom I..."

We've given our TeachMeet the above title because we'd like the presenters to share something from their classrooms that others can take into theirs in the coming year.

What is it?

Learn something new, be amazed and amused. This is an informal gathering of those curious about teaching and learning. Anyone can share great ideas they've trialled in their classroom or ask important questions. Education professionals from all sectors are welcome to take part.

The main part of TeachMeet is hearing stories about learning from teachers. This is not an event to present about a product or theory - this is a chance for teachers from all types of establishments to hear ideas from each other. It is about being engaged and inspired by our immediate colleagues and a load of networking too!

If you've never heard of or been to a TeachMeet before sign up to come along and listen. We're confident you'll enjoy your evening.

When and where is it?

Download a poster.

16:30, for a 17:00 start and finish 19:00.

What can you do?

You can come along to lurk, listen, watch, chat, meet new people, or give a five minute presentation or three minute presentation.

Tea, coffee, cold drinks and a selection of sandwiches and biscuits will be available thoughout the evening.

We are looking for sponsors for raffle prizes and food. If anyone is interested please contact us. Thank you to those who already have!

Presentation Rules

You can use whatever presentation format you want.

The important thing is that you get your message across and you will only get one minute set up time.

Be prepared for technical difficulties and be ready to wing it on the night! That’s what makes TeachMeet exciting!

There will be a prize draw at the end of the TeachMeet for those who presented (we currently have one prize) where you will get the opportunity to bag yourself some great prizes.
