TeachMeet Brock is designed to be a fun, inspirational evening of all levels of education professionals getting together to share good practice. We are aiming for all levels of teaching to be represented at the event.
We'd love for you to share ideas that have worked for you in your classrooms, ask questions and meet other enthusiastic teachers.
Our Keynote speaker for the night is David Fawcett, traditionally a PE teacher by trade, now a 'Learning Innovator' who has been working in a Southampton secondary school for 8 years. David's role includes additional responsibility with the focus of teaching and learning with both staff and students. He has been part of a number of successful drives and initiatives to develop teaching and learning within the classroom and adopted across the whole school. Leader and presenter of various staff seminars, INSET and CPD sessions. David has a passion for developing confident, competent and resilient learners and is the lead teacher and designer of the schools successful Learning to Learn course. A regular blogger with regard to teaching and learning, his blog reflects and shares ideas on current practice, general teaching, Learning to Learn and SOLO taxonomy.
