 This is a free event for all those interested in education, learning and teaching. Teachers at any stage of their career or training, education advisors, support staff, local authority staff, and all those working in Scottish Education are welcome at the event- the more the merrier!

 

Learn something new, be amazed, amused and enthused. This is an informal gathering of those curious about learning, teaching and education.

 

Anyone can share great ideas they've trialled in their classrooms, learned about, ask important questions or simply sign up to take part in learning conversations.

Dr Claire Cassidy - Claire is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Education at Strathclyde. She is the B.Ed. Programme Coordinator for Educational Studies and the Professional Project and also Course Director for the Postgraduate Certificate in Philosophy with Children - the only course of its kind in the UK.

 

Kim Polonis - Kim is a probationer teacher this year after completing the BEd at Strathclyde last year with a first class honours and as top student of her class.

 

Jackie Kane - Depute Head Teacher at a primary school in Glasgow City Council.

 

Graeme Logan - Education Scotland, HMI Lead Inspector of Teacher Education.
