We are pleased to have Drew Buddie (aka Digital Maverick @digitalmaverick) as our Master of Ceremonies hosting a fruit-machine randomised line up of 7-minute presentations and 2-minute nano-presentations. We are also delighted that Peter Ford from NoTosh has agreed to lead an interactive session. As well as this it is fantastic to share that we have Jon Ralphs (@jon_ralphs) graphically recording what looks to be a fabulous event!

Raffle:

We are raising money for a local charity, Medical Detection Dogs through donations and a raffle. This wonderful charity trains dogs to help people with life threatening health conditions, giving them greater independence and saving lives by detecting cancer, and managing complex medical conditions such as diabetes, narcolepsy, allergies and pain attacks on a day to day basis. They are working with local schools to build real life and purposeful learning opportunities through curriculum guidance and visiting dogs.

You can text a donation at anytime to 70070.
Send the message: MDDE00£ * (insert the amount you would like to donate in place of the star).
You will get a thank you text back.

Visible Wall:

Having seen the idea work well at the BETT 2013 teachmeet, we are so pleased to have Jon Ralphs (@jon_ralphs) as our graphical recorder for the evening. Jon will capture our ideas as a visible wall during the evening and this will make a fabulous record of the event. Some of you may be familiar with Jon's work at Oxley Park School and other events. You can find him at jonralphs.com and see more examples of his work here and here.
