MediaMeet2 7th Feb 2013

Please come along to...

Second TeachMeet for Media teachers and educators in Norfolk (and beyond!)

When:      Thursday 7th February 2013 - 4.30-6pm

Where:     Cinema City, Norwich Map: http://www.picturehouses.co.uk/cinema/Cinema_City/Hires_Info/Venue_Info/Location/

Focus:      Any aspect of Media education

Cinema City and their education team are kindly providing the venue and refreshments (thanks Anna and Guy!).

Let me quote someone else who explains the concept: "TeachMeets are FREE, informal "unconferences", all about creating opportunities for those interested in education to take the lead, share practice, discover new ideas, network and be inspired all during the course of one CPD fuelled evening!" Sharing stuff, chatting and stealing, in other words.

Same as last time - it works by people offering to talk for a few minutes about some aspect of their teaching: it might be something you're trying that you want to share, or something that's been particularly successful, or a discussion around anything to do with Media and teaching and learning. It might be more questions than answers; it might be practical or more theoretical. It's not a spectator sport: you don't have to present, but it will all be more fun if you join in.

Presentations are limited to 3 minutes (or 7 minutes, if you want a big slot).

Someone to get in touch with to ask stuff: g.seal AT cns-school.org
