ASE Science TeachMeet

09.30 - 12.30 Saturday 9th March

Heanor Gate Science College, Kirkley Drive, Heanor, Derbyshire DE75 7RA.

It is an informal and enjoyable gathering of those curious about teaching and learning. Anyone can share great ideas they've trialled in their classrooms, a teaching resource they love, a great website, a classroom activity - whatever you like! You can ask questions or simply turn up to soak up all the great ideas and enthusiasm.  It is about being engaged and inspired by our immediate colleagues and gaining a lot of of networking to boot!

You will take away some free resources, glow in the dark pen, and  lots of good ideas to use which will give you confidence to face your next OFSTED visit.

This Teachmeet is part of a larger ASE event which includes a talk 'Changes in Ofsted Inspection and alterations you can make to science teaching and learning to be outstanding' by Rob Howard, Headteacher, former science teacher and Ofsted Inspector.
