What is TeachMeet Pedagoo❤Libraries?

 

Pedagoo❤Libraries is our new event which brings the Pedagoo approach to TeachMeets to Edinburgh. Our TeachMeets focus on collaborative, dialogue-based professional learning and are supported by ongoing learning throughout the year on Pedagoo.org. Attendance at this TeachMeet will be free!

 


When & Where will it be?

 

Pedagoo❤Libraries will start at 12.30pm on Saturday 1st June 2013 in the Mezzanine of the Central Library Edinburgh. There will also be a follow up evening event in The Canon's Gait from about 6pm.

What will it look like?

 

The big difference with our TeachMeets is that we take a workshop rather than a presentation approach...which is why this starts during the day instead of just being in the evening. We first ask teachers to sign up to lead a workshop and then we'll open the event to everyone else at which point you'll choose your workshops.

Part 2 of the TeachMeet will be an evening event in The Canon's Gait...this will be a much more relaxed affair with lots more sharing of practice from everyone! This will finish when the last person leaves or when the establishment closes...whatever comes first :)
