What is a TeachMeet?
It is an informal and enjoyable gathering of those curious about teaching and learning. Anyone can share great ideas they've trialled in their classrooms, a teaching resource they love, a great website, a classroom activity - whatever you like! You canask questions or simply turn up to soak up all the great ideas and enthusiasm.
The main part of TeachMeet is hearing stories about learning, from teachers and other education professionals. This is a chance for education professionals to hear ideas from each other, a chance to hear real narratives of practice that makes a difference. It is about being engaged and inspired by our immediate colleagues and gaining a whole bucket load of networking to boot!
The theme of this TeachMeet is ICT in Science Education

From the City
We are conveniently situated close to the West Road. From the city centre, travel out of the city along the West Road for two and a half miles. As the road descends it passes the Fox and Hounds pub on the right hand side. Keep going downhill and Gretna Road is found on the left hand side after 500 metres. Turn left up Gretna Road and we are situated 150 metres on the left.
From the A1/A69
Leave the A1 or A69 at the junction of these two major roads and travel towards the city centre. Pass straight over a roundabout by the Denton pub, and pass Benwell Hill Cricket Club on the right. Shortly after the cricket club, Gretna Road is on the right hand side. Turn up Gretna Road and we are situated 150 metres on the left.
