TeachMeets are, as the name suggests, meetings of teachers.
But they are meetings with a difference.
They are meetings where no-one speaks for more than five minutes; Sign up for a nano presentation (1-2 mins) or a micro presentation (5 mins), but no more.
And they are meetings where some people do not speak at all; whilst we encourage presentations, enthusiastic audience members are also very welcome.
Finally, and most importantly, TeachMeets are meetings about learning.
This fun video explains it all.
If you would like to participate... Please fill in your name on this page. You can edit this page to add your details (details of how to do this below) or email amy.wells@stjuliansschool.co.uk with information that needs uploading.
When and where?
5pm (for a 5:30pm start) to 7.30pm, Wednesday 26th June 2013
The theme for the evening is, 'iPads in Education'. We warmly welcome contributions from attendees, related to how iPads have enhanced the learning & teaching taking place in your lessons, how they have engaged students and anything related to how these tools can improve the experience of the students in and around the classroom.
You don't have to show slides, but you can if you want to. There will be a computer (with internet access) and connectors available to show iPads LIVE.
Please don't try to sell something.
