ASE Science TeachMeet

4.30pm - 6.30pm Tuesday 25th June 2013

Winchester Rd, Chandler's Ford, Eastleigh, Hampshire SO53 2DW

It is an informal and enjoyable gathering of those curious about teaching and learning. Anyone can share great ideas they've trialled in their classrooms, a teaching resource they love, a great website, a classroom activity - whatever you like! You can ask questions or simply turn up to soak up all the great ideas and enthusiasm.  It is about being engaged and inspired by our immediate colleagues and gaining a lot of of networking to boot!

What can you do?

You can just come along and be a member of the audience if you like, you can give a two minute nano-presentation on one of your favourite science teaching ideas, or you can give a seven minute micro-presentation on an aspect of classroom science teaching. You don't have to be an ASE member, but if you're not, we might try to persuade you to join!

How to get there

Thornden school is on Winchester Road in Chandler’s Ford; this road is just off Junction 12 on the M3 and the school is on the left hand side just past the Nuffield Hospital!

Telling Others

Please tell other science teachers about the event. If you've been to a TeachMeet before, aim to bring along someone who hasn't.
