TMHistorySW-2

Page history last edited by Tom Ivey 10 years, 5 months ago

History teachers have been beaten in the press in the last year. This is your chance to come along and show that their comments are a load of twaddle. Following on from our first event in May, the format will be the exact same. The only change is that we are going to have a theme!

Where possible we'd like all the presentations to be about CONTENT or KNOWLEDGE! We want to know how you teach the English Civil War so kids understand, how you make the Luddites fascinating or why you think teaching Warwick the Kingmaker is the greatest thing since sliced bread.

#TMHistorySW - by History teachers, for History teachers!

Venue:

Grad School of Education, Bristol University, Berkley Sq

Organisers:

Richard Kennett - @kenradical

Robert Massey - @DrMHistory

Sally Thorne - @MrsThorne

Share something you've tried in the classroom! Or just along and listen and eat some free cake.

So sorry, I actually thought this was tonight, we have senior prize giving tomorrow evening so I won't be able to make it. Gutted! Definitely count me in for the next. Susan Lansdell-Woods.
