Learn something new, be amazed, amused and enthused. This is an informal gathering of those curious about teaching and learning. Anyone can share great ideas they've trialled in their classrooms, ask important questions or simply sign up to take part in learning conversations. Education professionals from all sectors are welcome to take part.
The Scottish Learning Festival TeachMeet is always something special. It is usually the biggest TeachMeet in Scotland and often attracts some of the biggest names in education. It is also great fun!
If you have any problems signing-up, you can also register by emailing scot-ed@hotmail.co.uk .
Let's also agree not to cause any PowerPoint-induced comas. And remember, technology may not always be your friend. Set up time is one minute for each presentation.
You do not have to present anything, you can always be an Enthusiastic Lurker (TeachMeet speak for attendee!)
The rough outline for the night is below. All timings will be sorted out nearer the time!

TeachEat takes place at Aria Café Bar on Hope Street, a four-minute walk from The Optima. Upon arrival, you will be treated to one alcoholic drink (beer or wine) or soft drink, and either burger (various, including vegetarian) and chips, pizza, or pakora.
Please add you name below if you intend to TeachEat:
If you cannot make it in person, we will be streaming parts of the evening live on Radio Edutalk at http://edutalk.info/listen.
