We are trying a new kind of event to keep our conversations going. Hopefully our ideas will be even better than before because of fresh air and the inspiring setting of the South Downs National Park!
Timings:
Date: Thursday 30th October
Time: 3.15 – 6.30
3.15 refreshments on arrival - hot chocolate and cake
3.30 welcome by SDNPA and QECP staff
4.00 depart for the top of Butser Hill
4.45 meet Dark Sky Dan
5.00 – choice of things to do
- Star gazing with Dark Skies Dan
- Walk around the hill looking at sky glow and other interesting points
- Bat detecting
6.00 finish and walk back to car park (6.30)
