What is it?

TeachMeet The Study @ Manchester Museum is a FREE informal CPD event for all adults interested in education, regardless of subject specialism or Key Stage; everyone is welcome to attend. Come along to deliver either a 10 minute hands on workshop or presentation on a topic of your choice, or simply attend to be inspired by others' ideas.

Unlike many TeachMeets, TeachMeet The Study @ Manchester Museum invites presentations under four distinct categories:

Make: practical demos - the positive effects of hands on learning

Share: topics that lend themselves to whole school learning

Wonder: moments that make you think

Discover: new ways to capture the imagination of children and young people

As well as a range of presentations on a number of education topics, there will also be a selection of FREE drinks and nibbles in the Museum throughout the evening.

The event will be hosted by Chris Mayoh, Education Technology Consultant and Debbie Doran, Manchester Museum Learning Team.
