What is TeachMeet?

Learn something new, be amazed, amused and enthused. This is an informal gathering of those curious about teaching and learning. Anyone can share great ideas they've trialled in their classrooms, ask important questions or simply sign up to take part in learning conversations. Education professionals from all sectors are welcome to take part.

The Scottish Learning Festival TeachMeet is always something special.  This year we will try and breakout of the usual format with a bit of a return to the social roots. There will still be 7 minute presentations and 2 minute nano presentations, but the focus will be more on social discussions. The space will be very suitable small groups, moving around and socialising. It has wonderful Wifi.

Presentations

You can talk about anything that has inspired you or is working well in class. Your focus could be a tool, strategy or topic, or some enquiry or collaboration you were/are involved in.

The one rule here is NO SELLING.

Let's also agree not to cause any PowerPoint-induced comas. And remember, technology may not always be your friend. Set up time is one minute for each presentation. Given we will have a very flexible space, with not very one facing the same way, you might like to forgo slides altogether!

You do not have to present anything, you can always be an Enthusiastic Lurker (TeachMeet speak for attendee!)

Add your name to the tables below to present. head to Event Bright to signup as a lurker.
